3) How to take Western Digital Hard Drive Data Recovery Approval for Warranty.
One has to call to the call center of Western Digital team, i.e. 1800-200-5789 / 1800-11-9393, Request for data recovery approval, with the details of Serial No. and the Part No. of the disk with date of purchase of the drive.
Post which an email will be received with the subject "Approval for Data Recovery – Western Digital Case Number…", from Email Id: "[email protected]", a reply to be sent Western Digital team for getting an approval for proceeding with third party data recovery company has to be sent, the approval may take about 1 to 4 days of time.
